Based in Singapore, Dr. Margaret Alvarez brings over nine years of experience in international accreditation. Prior to joining WASC, she served as Head of School at ISS International School, Singapore. Her work has included research in school improvement, collaboration with government agencies, development of accreditation protocols, and training for educators and school leaders worldwide.

With over 25 years of international educational leadership, Dr. Hedger brings an extraordinary depth of experience and a global perspective to this role. He currently serves as Director of The International School Yangon in Myanmar, with prior leadership roles at Cayman International School, Qatar Academy, and Escuela Campo Alegre in Venezuela. His journey also includes time in Pakistan, Romania, Indonesia, and his home state of Minnesota. Beyond school leadership, Dr. Hedger is a respected voice in the international education community—serving on boards including AAIE, EARCOS, AASSA, WASC, and others, and contributing to the International Task Force for Child Protection. He is also passionate about mentoring future leaders and advancing humanitarian efforts such as supporting refugee populations and establishing schools in underserved areas.

Jing brings more than 15 years of leadership experience in China’s international K–12 education sector, with expertise in school operations, strategic development, program implementation, and accreditation. Having served in roles ranging from Director of HR and Principal to Board Chair Assistant and Vice General Manager, she has guided schools through growth, change, and successful accreditation. Her firsthand experience with WASC, combined with her collaborative, people-centered approach, enables her to support schools across China in meaningful continuous improvement.

With over two decades of experience in international education and leadership, Natalie supports schools and systems across Europe, the Middle East, Asia, and Africa to strengthen strategic planning, leadership capacity, safeguarding, and continuous improvement through the Focus on Learning (FoL) framework. Recognised for aligning strategic vision with operational excellence, she helps schools build coherence between governance, leadership, and learning. Her work is grounded in a deep commitment to safeguarding, residential life, and system-level leadership—ensuring that student learning, well-being, and organisational effectiveness remain central to every school’s purpose and practice.
